Basic CPR/AED/First Aid; 2.5 – 4.5hr

The purpose of this OSHA Compliant course is to give individuals in the workplace and the community the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide resuscitation or Basic non-healthcare provider CPR on patients for all ages (CPR/AED for Adult, Child and Infants) including how to use an AED, for victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and those who are unresponsive or choking.

Basic Community First Aid can be added to the course to complete your knowledge and fulfill OSHA and CalOSHA requirements.  Basic Community First Aid includes a large amount of topics (bleeding control, limb deformity, seizures, asthma, epi-pens, etc.) and what to do until advanced medical personnel arrive.

***DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE: Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer (LIFEGUARD, Firefighters, EMT, Nurses, Dental, anyone in the healthcare/rescuer field) must take Professional CPR Courses to fulfill the occupational requirements.

***DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE: Daycare or Preschool Worker. You must take a Childcare Provider class to fulfill State of California licensing requirements.

Paper textbooks will be provided for classroom use only. A digital textbook is included with the class price and comes with the digital certification card.

**Digital Certificates are emailed to you by Health and Safety Institute, info@hsi.com, within 2 business days of successful completion of the class.  A completion of class document is given to you at the end of the course**
