Heartsaver® Total Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online

Heartsaver Total Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online offers the convenience of digital learning. The eLearning portion of the Heartsaver Total Pediatric First Aid CPR AED blended learning course is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Total Instructor.

The AHA’s Heartsaver Total Pediatric course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA, EMSA), or other requirements.  The course is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations.

How does it work?  You must purchase and complete ALL Topics of the online course in addition to these skills sessions Pediatric *Heartsaver Total – Comprehensive course designed for those requiring training to meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements.

This can be found at https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-pediatric-first-aid-cpr-aed-online.  Each student will need their own individual email address and set up their unique AHA eLearning accounts. This online course will take you approximately 4 hours to complete online.  You must complete your entire online class (all topics, nothing is optional)  before your skills session that is in person with an instructor at Lifeline Training Center. The digital online course is Non-refundable.  After successful completion of your online class, you will need to email us your proof of completion or print it and bring it with you to your in person skills session.  It will be needed to attend the skills session. In this 4 hour skills session we will also be covering: immunization requirements, medication administration, car seats, poison control, State of California Asthma curriculum and much more.
