Childcare Provider Skills; 4 hrs

EMSA has Approved Online Blended Learning for Childcare Providers!

Heartsaver® Total Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online

Heartsaver Total Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online offers the convenience of digital learning. The eLearning portion of the Heartsaver Total Pediatric First Aid CPR AED blended learning course is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Total Instructor.

The AHA’s Heartsaver Total Pediatric course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA, EMSA), or other requirements.  The course is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations.

How does it work?  Once you purchase your skills session, we will email you a link and key code to access your online course.  You must complete your online class before your skills session that is in person with an instructor at Lifeline Training Center.

Cost:  $120 Non-Refundable Digital Course (includes the online class and skills session)
Length:  4 hr skills session
Certificate:  2 years
