Basic CPR/First Aid Course: The purpose of the course is to give individuals in the workplace and the community the knowledge and
skills necessary to recognize and provide Basic CPR for adults, children, infants along with Basic First Aid, until advanced medical personnel arrive
and take over.

over. This course includes certification on automated external defibrillators (AED).
*You must inform Lifeline if you are a Child Care Provider, these classes may not fulfill your requirement for EMSA in the State of
California.
**Healthcare Providers or Professional Rescuers (Firefighters, EMT, EMT-P, Nurses, Lifeguards, anyone in the healthcare/rescuer field) must take
Healthcare Provider CPR Courses to fulfill the occupational requirements.
